Radcomp operates using a two types of technology the first being WIFI. WIFI is the cable free way to join network components over short and long distances, our WIFI service operates on the 2.4Ghz frequency range and is capable of speeds up to 4MB (14,000Kbps). We currently have a number of access points operating in the district stretching 24Km's LOS (Line of Sight). Below is a basic diagram of how our customers are connected to our network. The next generation being WIMAX technology 802.16 is currently being installed and tested, and will be in operation in October 2008. This will allow users to get higher speeds of up to 12Mbps. This technology also allows Radcomp to offer additional services like backup and file retention and carrier quality Voip services for Businesses and alike.
